• Keno Tactics That Are Sure To Win

It won’t ordinarily be seen as the most fun game in the realm of gambling, but keno has tons of passionate enthusiasts. And why not? It’s a regularly thrilling lotto-like game that’s a breeze to play, abundantly available in loads of assorted formats, and one that might pay out millions for those who master its countless subtle intricacies. But let’s deal with the basics here.

When describing keno to novices, some wagering connoisseurs compare it to the lottery. This is at least partly correct, in that both games are essentially numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far will be to minimize the endless unique traits that make keno so interesting. Unlike bingo, keno gamblers have the freedom to choose the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the user is furnished with an increased degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as numerous (or as few) numbers as she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your chosen numbers with a good old#2 pencil like you had when you were a kid.

After you have marked your numbers, take the keno card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your loud shirt and wants help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will collect exactly $.00 for your efforts.

OK, so there you have strategy number one: always make sure to keep your keno ticket. Let’s advance to something a little bit more useful, ok?

After you’ve checked off your numbers, get into a comfy keno booth and watch the action unfold on the screen. This is where the winning numbers show up for all to see. If you have winners, mark your card aptly. Sake care not to move to slowly, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You must get up to the keno stand to collect your winnings, and a new round of keno will surely start up within not too many minutes.

Strategy number 2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you can’t trust yourself to beat that 5 minute deadline each and every time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty slips. When the maximum number of games (fitting the amount of tickets) is completed, you can then get off your numb rump and go redeem your winnings.

Still another choice is referred to as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which generally allows you make number picks for 30 games or more. Hell, you can take vacation to France and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to redeem your winnings. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!

So now you are aware of a few essential strategies for winning keno. If you are a discerning gambler, they may seem to be quite obvious. However, it won’t hurt to brush up on the basics, and if you are a novice keno player, every bit of advice will help make your keno wagering more exciting.
