• Keno Strategies That Will Make You Rich

It won’t often be thought of as the sexiest game in the universe of gaming, but keno has millions and millions of devout enthusiasts. And so it should! It’s a regularly entertaining lottery-style game that’s easy to learn, abundantly available in many different formats, and one that may pay out millions for those who learn its endless subtle nuances. But let’s begin with the basics here.

When describing keno to newcomers, some betting pros compare it to bingo. This is at least partially apt, in that both games are generally numerical. But to take that comparison too far can be to think too little of the many unique aspect that make keno so compelling. Not like bingo, keno users have the freedom to choose the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the user is furnished with an increased degree of personal responsibility by being able to select as many (or as few) numbers as she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a genius to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your chosen numbers with a standardball point pen like you used back in school.

Now that you’ve picked your numbers, take your card back to the girl at the keno stand. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to lose this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your face and wants help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will get precisely $.00 for your time spent.

Ok, there you have strategy #1: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let’s move on to something a little more advanced, ok?

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action take place on a big video monitor. This is where the winning numbers appear for us. If you have winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to drag your feet, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You must get back to the keno booth to redeem your winnings, and then a new keno game will probably begin within 5 minutes.

Strategy #2: always get back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you can’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline every time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" card. These include the very same set of your picked numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the max number of games (fitting the amount of tickets) is finished, you may then get off your lazy butt and go collect your winnings.

Still another opportunity is recognized as a "stray and play" keno slip, which usually allows you make number picks for thirty games or more. Hell, you can take all the time in the world and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to collect your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

And now you have learned a couple of needed schemes for winning keno. If you are an adept player, they may appear to be incredibly obvious. But it will never hurt to study up on the basics, and if you are a novice gambler, every little bit of advice will help make your keno playing more captivating.
