Online Keno Tricks Articles
It may not usually be seen as the most lucrative game in the arena of gaming, but keno has loads of passionate supporters. As well it should! It’s a regularly thrilling lottery-like game that’s uncomplicated to pickup, readily available in lots of assorted styles, and one that might return millions of dollars for gamblers who learn its countless subtle intricacies. But let’s start with the basic rules here.
When explaining keno to newbies, some gambling connoisseurs compare it to the lottery. This is at least partially apt, in that each game is generally numerical. But to take that comparison too far can be to devalue the many unique aspect that make keno so compelling. Not like bingo, keno players have the freedom to choose the numbers for every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to choose as many (or as few) numbers as she needs. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your selected numbers with a good oldpen like you had when you were in grade 3.
Once you’ve marked your numbers, take your game card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The nice person will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will get exactly $.00 for your winning card.
OK, so there you have strategy #1: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let’s get on to something a tiny bit more complex, what do you think?
Now that you’ve marked your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and see the action unfold on the video monitor. This is where the winning numbers show up in lights. If you have winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to move to slowly, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You really want to get back to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, and then a new keno game will most likely start up within five minutes.
Strategy number 2: always go back to the keno stand on time!
Assuming you do not trust yourself to meet that 5 minute deadline each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from two to twenty cards. When the max amount of rounds (matching the amount of tickets) is played, you may then get off your lazy butt and go collect your winnings.
Yet another choice is referred to as a "stray and play" keno slip, which usually lets you make number selection for 30 keno rounds or more. Golly, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to worry about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after it’s bought!
And now you are aware of a few indispensable techniques for winning keno. If you are an accomplished player, they might seem stupidly obvious. Still, it won’t hurt to brush up on the basic methods, and if you are a novice player, every little bit of advice will help make your keno gambling more enjoyable.
