• Keno Strategies That Are Sure To Win

It will not ordinarily be looked at as the most fun game in the world of betting, but keno has huge amounts of keen players. And it should! It’s a consistently entertaining lottery-type game that’s a breeze to learn, readily available in tons of alternate formats, and one that will pay out millions of dollars for those who learn its many subtle rules. But let’s begin with the beginner’s rules for now.

When explaining keno to novices, some betting experts compare it to lotto. This is at least in part apt, in that each game is essentially numerical. Yet to carry that comparison too far is likely to be to belittle the innumerable unique traits that make keno so entertaining. Unlike bingo, keno players have the freedom to pick the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the gambler is granted an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to pick as numerous (or as few) numbers as she wants. And it doesn’t take a genius to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your selected numbers with a standardball point pen like you had back in school.

Now that you have picked your numbers, carry the game card back to the keno pit manager at the keno stand. The keno pit manager will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Make sure no to lose this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your loud shirt and wants help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will win precisely $.00 for your efforts.

Now there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno ticket. Let’s get on to something a tiny bit more advanced, ok?

Now that you’ve marked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and see the action take place on a monitor. This is where the winning numbers show up for us. If you’ve got winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Sake care not to dilly dally, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and a new drawing will almost certainly start within a few minutes.

Strategy number 2: always make it back to the keno booth on time!

Since you can’t trust yourself to beat that 5 minute margin each time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from two to 20 cards. When the maximum amount of games (matching the number of tickets) is played, you can then get off your numb back side and go retrieve your winnings.

Still another opportunity is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which generally lets you make number selection for 30 keno games or more. Heck, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to collect your numbers. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

And now you have learned a number of needed strategies for winning keno. If you are an accomplished player, they might seem quite obvious. But it does not hurt to study up on the basic strategies, and if you are a newbie keno player, every tiny bit of information will help make your keno games more entertaining.
