It will not ordinarily be considered the sexiest game in the universe of gaming, but keno has massive amounts of fanatical admirers. As well it should! It’s a consistently exciting lotto-like game that’s easy to pickup, abundantly available in several alternate styles, and one that may return millions of dollars for those who learn its limitless subtle nuances. But let’s start with the beginner’s rules here.

When defining keno to newcomers, some betting pros compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain degree correct, in that each game is essentially numerical. Now that you’ve picked your numbers, carry your card back to the girl at the keno booth. The girl will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t lose this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers you and would like to help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will win precisely $.00 for your actions.

After you’ve marked your numbers, settle into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action unfold on a video monitor. That’s where the winning numbers show up for us. If you marked winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Sake care not to take your time, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You need to get back to the keno stand to get your winnings, since a new keno game will most likely get going within five minutes.

Strategy number 2: always go back to the keno stand on time!

Since you do not trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty cards. When the max amount of rounds (the same as the number of tickets) is finished, you are then able to get off your lazy back side and go retrieve your winnings.

Yet another option is recognized as a "stray and play" keno slip, which normally allows you make number choices for 30 keno games or more. Golly, you can take vacation to France and not have to fret about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!

So now you are aware of a couple necessary methods for winning keno. If you are an accomplished keno player, they may appear to be very obvious. But it does not hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a newbie gambler, every little bit of advice will help make your keno betting more entertaining.
