• Keno Tactics That Make Money

    [ English ]

It won’t usually be looked at as the best game in the arena of betting, but keno has loads of passionate fans. And so it should! It’s a regularly thrilling lottery-ish game that’s simple to master, readily available in a number of alternate variations, and one that can return mega-dollars for players who learn its heaps of subtle intricacies. But let’s begin with the beginner’s rules here.

When explaining keno to newbies, some gaming experts compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain degree correct, in that both games are generally numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far can be to think too little of the countless unique characteristics that make keno so fun. Not like bingo, keno enthusiasts have the ability to select the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the player is given an increased level of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as many (or as few) numbers as he feels they need. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your desired numbers with a every day old#2 pencil like you had when you were a kid.

Once you have selected your numbers, carry your card back to the girl at the keno stand. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to drop this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your loud shirt and wants help out, without a winning receipt on you, you will get precisely $.00 for your actions.

OK, so there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno ticket. Let us move on to something a little bit more complex, ok?

After you’ve marked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action unfold on the big keno monitor. This is where the winning numbers show up in lights. If you marked winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to move to slowly, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You want to get up to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, as a new keno game will probably get going within not too many minutes.

Strategy number two: always get back to the keno booth on time!

Since you do not trust yourself to beat that five-minute deadline each and every time, you always retain the option of purchasing a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty tickets. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the amount of tickets) is played out, you will then be able to get off your numb rump and go collect your winnings.

Still another choice is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which normally allows you make number picks for 30 rounds or more. Heck, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to fret about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!

So now you have learned a handful of necessary techniques for winning keno. If you are a good gambler, they may appear to be quite obvious. But it doesn’t hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a beginner player, every bit of direction will help make your keno playing more agreeable.
