• Keno Methods That Work

It won’t usually be thought of as the most lucrative game in the realm of wagering, but keno has millions and millions of fanatical admirers. As well it should! It’s a always entertaining lottery-like game that’s a breeze to pickup, abundantly available in tons of different formats, and one that can yield millions of dollars for players who master its uncounted subtle rules. But let’s begin with the beginner’s rules for now.

When describing keno to newbies, some gambling experts compare it to the lottery. This is at least partially correct, in that both games are generally numerical. However, to carry that comparison too far might be to minimize the many unique aspect that make keno so fun. Not like bingo, keno users have the ability to choose the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an increased degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as many (or as few) numbers as he or she desires. And it doesn’t take a genius to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your desired numbers with a every day old#2 pencil like you used when you were in school.

Now that you have marked your numbers, take your game card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not misplace this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your pretty face and wants help out, without a winning ticket on you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your time spent.

Now there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno ticket. Let’s move on to something a tiny bit more useful, ok?

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and watch the action take place on the screen. That is where the winning numbers are shown in lights. If you marked winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Sake care not to take too much time, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You really want to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, since a new round of keno will certainly get going within not too many minutes.

Strategy #2: always be sure to get back to the keno stand on time!

Since you don’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute margin each time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the max amount of games (fitting the number of tickets) is completed, you will then be able to get off your lazy rump and go collect your winnings.

Another alternative is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which usually allows you make number choices for 30 games or more. Gosh, you can take a world tour and not have to fret about getting back in time to collect your numbers. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

And now you know a handful of essential strategies for winning keno. If you are an experienced player, they might seem stupidly obvious. However, it will never hurt to study up on the fundamentals, and if you are a novice keno player, every tiny bit of advice will help make your keno games more fun.
